Since Tuesday evening I've found myself looking at forests and green spaces and expecting a dinosaur to come into the open. At Hammonton Lake Park before going to support I sat by the eponymous lake, watched the water, but my eyes kept turning to the stand of trees across the way expecting a tyrannosaurus or similar beast to poke through and drink from the lake.
While driving down to Ocean County on Wednesday I imagined some manner of sauropod looming over the treetops, staring at the horizon while their body crashed through the understory being oblivious to anything ten feet tall or smaller.

Maybe it's from watching Prehistoric Planet. Maybe I'm bored. Maybe I'd like something to shake up the world out of these pandemic and war doldrums.
