Sometime over the weekend my biological father telephoned me. His number is blocked but in Android terms that mean the phone doesn't light up or react when his number calls me, and he's still able to leave a voicemail. I swiped away the notification, phoned voicemail and deleted the message before I even heard his voice. Apparently I have to pay in order for my phone and service to ignore his attempts to contact me.

On Sunday I had a tough moment because Edna crossed my mind along with missed opportunities made all the more challenging with my endemic isolation. In a flash I realized if she saw anything from me, my attempts to contact her, would probably be met with the same revulsion as I felt earlier in the weekend.
