In 2008 I had a crisis. I'm still here 17 years later.

I wrote a haiku to my friend Sarah while driving home from work on Monday.

November's shadow
Falls across October days
Bright leaves, early nights

I am still getting settled. Also I'm lazy. Plus my mind is preoccupied with important things with significant bearing upon my future.

On Sunday I watched The Wonderful Story Of Henry Sugar and it was a lovely, contemporary fable directed by Wes Anderson. The original story is by Roald Dahl. The story is about a doctor who encounters a man with a remarkable power, the ability to see without his eyes, and how the doctor documented and investigated the curious phenomenon. This testament is found by Henry Sugar who sets about undergoing the same training of the man who could see without his eyes.
