I’ve spent three hours trying to set up PiHole on Raspberry Pi. Shesa no work. The install has gone flawlessly, I set my router to use the PiHole as the only DNS, it’s IP address is way out of the range of random devices which may connect to it so it’s basically static.

Adding insult to injury, when I try to get help from the PiHole community, I have to get a debug token to accompany my help request. Apparently I need an account with the PiHole site and Github. I used Email A for both sites, and the says “Sign in with a Github account” with a button. I click the button, 403 Permission Denied, invalid account, with a plain jane link saying “Sign In”. I click that link, and I go through the unhelpful process again trying to acquire my fucking debug token.

I posted to the PiHole forum and hopefully I’ll get a helpful answer soon. Unfortunately it’s my first post and it needs to be approved by a mod. Thing is, mods are always a giant bundle of sticks.

That aside, I accomplished a few things today. Cleared away and bagged the remaining leaves. Took out the recycling. Created yet another HiFi production. Went food shopping.
