Just woke from a dream. Intense, maybe a nightmare. Perhaps not.
Last man on Eart, looks like Mel Gibson, is filling up his life in an empty world seeking out relics of his daughter. With all that time to ruminate, he recalls nearly everything about trips, occasions, among other events. It’s a constant narrative where he talks about finding a few stray hairs here or nail clippings there. The biggest discovery being a woolen cap and a scarf hanging in a tree for years, lost/abandoned after a skiing trip. His internal dialogue is so intense, crazy and fast, that I am forced awake.
I haven’t been sleeping well. Many dreams have been intense moving at the pace of life, not dreams, and I wish my dream recall was stronger. Must practice more, I reckon. Genuinely believe in those dreams I am living a second life, or I am experiencing oneiric precognition as outlined by Eric Wargo in Time Loops.
For what it is worth, I just wanna sleep through the night. No interruptions.
